Daily life

What a week here actually looks like

Meals, activities and shared spaces give your parent a full day without leaving the community.

Chef-prepared meals

Three meals a day are prepared by the kitchen team and served in the dining room. Your parent sits down to eat, and groceries and cooking are no longer theirs to manage.

More than 100 events a month

Exercise classes, live music, games and outings fill the calendar. Your parent can join what they like and skip what they don't.

Room to spend the day

A sitting area with a fireplace gives your parent a place to settle in with a book or a visitor. A covered patio, walking paths and a courtyard add more places to sit, walk or visit outside their apartment.

Stay close

Know how today went, even when you can't be there.

Cascade Valley Senior Living uses LifeLoop, an app that keeps families connected to daily life here. You get updates on your parent's day from your phone, wherever you live.

What families see in the app

  • Updates on your parent's day-to-day activities.
  • Photos, videos, and messages with your parent and staff.
  • The community calendar, so you know what's coming up.

One community, two levels of care

If your parent needs more help, it is a shorter move

Assisted living and memory care share one building. If your parent needs a different level of care later, the move stays under the same roof. The front door, phone number and drive to visit remain familiar.

Independent living is not offered here. Each apartment or room is part of either assisted living or memory care.

Memory care

How families here start memory care

  1. Call and tell us how we can help

A first conversation can begin with what has changed at home.

  2. Walk the memory care neighbourhood

A visit can include the rooms, the common space and a clear explanation of how the doors and entrance work.

  3. Go through the rate in writing

The written rate can show what is included and where additional costs may apply.

  4. Move in without leaving the building later

If your parent already lives in assisted living here, memory care is in the same building, down the corridor.
